South Morocco Birding was founded by Mohamed Belfakir, a Moroccan guide-driver with more than 27 years of experience in tourism. Specialized in Moroccan culture, history and birdwatching, Mohamed creates authentic journeys across Morocco with personalized service and deep local knowledge.
Based in Agadir and fluent in English and French, Mohamed is one of the rare Moroccan birdwatching specialists able to guide English-speaking travelers to the region's rarest species, including the endangered Northern Bald Ibis, while sharing the culture, history and hospitality of southern Morocco.
